Zineland at the Hammer Museum

Not really my kind of event but it was nice to see what it was all about. I had never heard of zines before nor familiar with the culture of people involved in it and so I decided why not check it out. Apparently “Zines” are small booklets put together by creative artists, everything from printouts of the “Revised Constitution” with “voided” out parts to books about punk rock, to do-it-yourself books to animation. Event was held on Saturday July 14th, acoompanied by a full bar and live music, pictures of this event are available on Flickr.
