This was actually a pretty cool event: lots of people, very simple, very out-of-the-blue, but nonetheless extremely enjoyable. Essentially, there are four screens suspended in the air (as shown above) and projected on each screen is a slow motion video of people dancing, moving, doing Kung-fu/ Tai-chi moves and so forth. Now its not jaw-dropping but the interesting thing is that you don’t really notice the art moving at all especially when you look at it from afar, unless you really stop to look and you will see that it is slowly moving (almost like an extremely artistic screen-saver.) Music by Jason Bently was awesome, lots of Ambient House, Hip-hop, and Funk- he definitely got the party going with lots of people dancing around the speakers (like a rave, remember those?) Anyhow, big props to KCRW for making a great party out of a little art show.

It was pretty dark, it was cold, yes I know, photos are pretty crappy, but it was the best I could do.
