So we know that San Diego is not in Los Angeles and is completely out of our territory to cover, however, this is most definitely an event worthy of noting as it is still located on the Southern California Area. There are two areas at the Embarcadero Area to view the event and depending on where you want to sit is how much you want to pay. Tickets can be ordered on-line and is highly recommended that you do order in advance. 2 day passes are available.
The Air Race is a world-wide event that tests pilots skills in speed, precision and skill- where the ultimate challenge is to complete the race course in the fastest possible time. Pilots will fly individually and slalom their way around ‘Air Gates”, the 2 fastest pilots will go head to head in the final round. Incredibly this idea was concocted by the Red Bull sports think tank group, which I believe always gave us the Flutog Race as well.
