Well the boys in blue gave a valiant effort this season and although it was a roller coaster ride of lots of ups and downs. You will have to admit though, that for a team that has absolutely ZERO hitting power and to have made it this far on just a short game, has made this season most definitely an incredibly strange one. We had a great deal of promising players, more steals than we’ve ever had but just a string of bad luck between bad offense and pitching problems. Don’t get me wrong, I love Saito, Lowe, Penny and Billingsley.. but Tomko? Come on! and all the other relievers were in the same park as well. Well if you are a true blue fan like I am, lets try to support them one more time before the end of the season.
And NO! This does not mean go root for the Halo’s, the only legitimate exception would be: if by chance the Red Sox go to the playoffs against the Halo’s, then yes, I would in that event root for the Halo’s- as long as Daisuke is not pitching.
