Lakers start their season off playing against T-Mac and Yao of the Houston Rockets. Granted Kobe has cried and cried about wanting a trade and Buss has said that he is entertaining offers, lets just get one thing straight: No. 24 is the best in the league, hands down. The Lakers team unfortunately, is not- the team is too young and although they have heart, none of them have any real scoring dependability- not even from Lamar. So you can’t blame a guy who wants to win championships and knows  that it just isn’t possible with the current roster or with the stupid A-holes who makes trades for the likes of Kwamie. So I say, as much as I love him and would absolutely hate to see him leave, “if you love ‘em, set ‘em free.” Be realistic, get as much as you can right now for his super-high price salary than to get bupkus from him when he has the ability to opt out next season.

I digress…. Hopefully this year will be different with the return of veteran Fisher, newcomer Coby Karl’s unbelievable 3-pt shooting ability and no Smush Parker (finally!), I’d say we can definitely see a great deal of energy from our team this season.  Also, Vlade, Jordan- shaved head look? Nice! (although I would have to say that Farmar resembles a pale monkey with his new look.)
