Normally an event that takes place after the New Years, has recently changed to the Thanksgiving holidays. After countless helpings and endless volunteering to help others finish up their left-overs, I was desperately in need of exercise and like most guys, I have a ‘thing’ for gawking at cars I cant afford- so, my friend Garth and I made way to the Convention Center to do all the gawking we could handle.
This year’s expected highlights included the anticipated Audi A5/S5, MBZ S400 Hybrid, Honda’s Fuel Cell Vehicle, and Nissan’s G-TR… the answer to the Skyline? Whatever the case, this year’s event actually looked nice, some of the booths were very aesthetically pleasing and thus inviting. A great deal of focus seemed to be on Hybrid cars, there was even a Hybrid Cadillac Escalade (so now you can get 10 miles to the gallon
), and there was of course Honda’s ‘Fuel Cell Vehicle’ that does zero polluting.
If you missed it, too bad, it was really worth the time!
