How Bush was elected to a second term, I will never know. What I do know is this: If you do not think our world is being Fedex’d to Disaster-ville, you ought to stop reading right now. The price of oil is at an all time high, our economy is heading towards a low, the abundance of mortgage foreclosures is frightening, the value of the U.S. dollar is in crisis and there are still people in the Middle East that need to come home. Unfortunately, that is just the tip of the iceberg and as our nation eventually falls second to China (as we fall further in debt to them), we need a leader that will make good on promises and make decisions that will not just support the rich but provide a future for all. So whether you are a Republican or Democrat, make a choice and please make an educated one. The decisions we make today will echo for eternity.
