In lieu of the plethora of art openings and receptions and parties this Saturday, I thought that I would consolidate the list for ya’ll and create an Arturday cheat sheet, so to speak. Grab your gallery buddy and hit the streets!
Overflow: A reinvention of Alan Kaprow’s Fluids

In conjunction with LACMA and the LA Art Girls the Getty Center is hosting a two day event where ice sculptures are being built around the city and left to melt or be deconstructed on Sunday. This is a reinvention and commemoration of the original piece/installation/sculpture by Alan Kaprow in 1967. This will be at the Getty on Saturday from 10 a.m.-8:30 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m.
