It is very few and far in between that we post any literary event and as we continue to grow older and rely on the internet and gossip for information, it’s easy to forget all about those things we call “books.” Me, personally, I’m a Sci-Fi fan, such as Ender’s Game, Neuromancer, Idoru and Snow Crash, but honestly I haven’t read a good book from front to back in a while. Anyhow, if you’re like me, and need to get reacquainted with the art of “reading,” The L.A. Times hosts a festival this weekend filled with guest authors, sellers, readers, and publishers. Tickets for the speaker sessions are required, they are free but with a $0.75 service fee per ticket.
