So, ever wonder what an NTDLA meeting is like? There are two kinds: the first involves coffee and a game of hot-hands; the other involves beer and drunken name calling. This time, we went with beer and even Michelle was there, yea, you know, the one who is suppose to write for us, (check the NTDLA Staff page… all the way at the bottom.) Beer, Dodger Dogs and $17 for Infield Loge seats that normally cost $60? Feliz Cinco De Mayo to NTDLA indeed. (Muchos Gracias Travelzoo.com.)
It was a Cinco De Mayo fest at Dodger Stadium and the Dodgers took the The Mets with 2 runs in the First inning and an amazing Home Run by DeWitt, followed by Matt Kemp in the bottom of the 5th, but, if you ask Jamie, the success was due to the puppy-dog names she gave each player as they stepped up to bat- which in turn made Matt and I go for a second run of beer and food. Yup, nothing but good times for us and it’s always better when they win too, so big ups to Billingsly who snapped out of his loosing streak and pitched a great game while the offense stepped up.
Lets go, Dodgers, Lets Go! (clap, clap, clap-clap-clap)
