After filming Hotel Rwanda, actor Don Cheadle opened his eyes to a critical conflict in Sudan that he felt deserved attention. In doing so, helped create Darfur Now, a documentary that follows six individuals who attempt to put a stop to the Genocide by the Janjuweed Militia in Darfur.
Stand and Participant Media sponsor a nationwide tour of five schools around the country, chosen for their outspoken efforts to fight genocide, to host a special screening of Darfur Now and a concert to raise awareness and funds
Come watch a free screening, enjoy a festival of music and learn more about this conflict and what you can do to help promote awareness.
