This week’s Cine-Insomnia installment will feature Alfred Hitchcok’s 1954 thriller Rear Window, a classic movie that has inspired others to make modern day rip-off of it. It’s about a man confined to a wheelchair because he injured his leg in an accident and since it’s the 1954 era, he is pretty much confined to his New York City apartment. As he has pretty much nothing to do all day, he starts spying on his neighbors, which, he soon starts to suspect one of murder—- sound familiar? Does it sound a little bit like a movie starring a certain someone you may have heard of recently? Like a certain Shia LeBeouf? Under a certain movie title of, oh-je-ne-sais-pas, uh, Disturbia? Yea, that one.
