Will and I went to see “El Rey Del Barrio” as a part of the LA Conservancy’s Last Remaining Seats. The screening was at the Million Dollar Theater on Broadway in Downtown. The theater itself was the first that Sid Grauman (Chinese theater) built back in the early 1900s and has seen many lives. It was great to go and see first hand the beauty and history/heritage of this Los Angeles landmark and really drove home the importance of championing the restoration and the salvation of these important pieces of architectural history.
