Hollywood Bowl Fireworks

For the first time in a while, July 4th finally lands on a Friday, which means to most of us, who still have a job, Holiday pay and a day off! The Bowl has a lot of great memories for my family and I; it’s where we used to always go every year for the 4th of July. We used to watch the L.A. Philharmonic play Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture as fireworks shot out behind the bowl while we dined on food and my dad drank his beer. To me, it is the quintessential summer night spectacular- open air, lazy summer feel, watching a musical performance and just knowing that this is what summer is all about.

This year the Bowl will also help celebrate the Dodger’s 50th Anniversary, which, as you may know by now, I am a huge fan of and as far as I am concerned, what I consider the true home team to angelinos. ( and speaking of which, they totally whipped the Angels Friday night 6 - 0!!!) Come celebrate the old fashion way, it’s a lot of fun.
