Zohan & Baron: All yo life you hhhhave a dream

Zohan: no, no, no, no, no, you hhhhave a dream

Baron: you hhave a dream?

Zohan: No, no, no, no, no, you want to make the Playoffs sexy so you change yo hair

Baron: what?

Zohan: and your beard, are you a point guard or a point god? I FIX! CUT!

Yes ladies and gentlemen, that pretty much sums it up. It was always his dream to play for his home town, but the mystery surrounding his reasons are whether or not he’s in it for basketball or because he has a side production with Cash Warren (you know, the guy married to Jessica Alba,) in the Hollywood scene. As my favorite sports writer J.A. Adande writes, “who cares?” So what that he has verbally agreed to join the Clippers to be in L.A., rumors were that he wasn’t happy with Don Nelson who wants to give the younger players more time, (and really, Monte Ellis is going to be a star in the upcoming years, but I don’t know if it’s worth benching Baron.) The trigger though, was that The Warriors failed to resign a star for what he wanted, instead, The Clippers gave it to him: $65 M for 5 yrs, (though its only verbal as of now.) Now Baron has a chance to do something the Clippers have not been able to do for a while: no, not go to the Playoff Finals, I mean raise ticket prices, provide an income stream for the team, and bring people to the game- those kind of things.

At the end of the day, with all the All-Stars wising up and realizing that it takes more than one All-Star on a team to win a championship, players are opting out of their deals to take lower cuts and are moving to teams with the next potential Championship win, (for example, what Artest could have done to join the Lakers but didn’t.) So Gratz to Baron, who is above all just an amazing player and deserves the love. Besides, the Clipper Spirits are pretty hot.

If Baron officially signs with The Clippers, an official announcement will be made on July 9th.

And now, Baron being Baron, the good and the, well, you decide ( video #4, directed by Emmanuelle Chriqui from Don’t mess with the Zohan):
