Solar Eclipse, Aug. 1st

Solar Eclipses are rare and few inbetween, it’s when the path of the moon passes through between Earth and the sun. This Friday, the Sun will be eclipsed and a shadow will be cast, unfortunately not over us. So where will it be cast you ask? Canada, Russia, Greenland and the Arctic, which sucks for them because they don’t really get to see the sun much in the North Pole as it is. I know, nothing to do with L.A., but I figured it’s something cool to know about. If you are interested in details , Google Earth/Map will show the path/trajectory. (How crazy is that, even Nasa uses Google for their displays)
